Financially, I grew up in a generally conservative household. I would say that I knew the value of working for a dollar, had a few summer jobs and did odd jobs for neighbors. I knew that overspending was bad but conversations about debt instruments and retirement vehicles were not typical coffee talk.

Throughout my adult life, I have always been interested in investing of different types. I recognize that most people are not interested in investing and financial literacy. This blog is an attempt to discuss some common financial scenarios and terms in an informal way that isn’t as “stuffy” as it can be sometimes.
